Evolution Volume One (2006)

It was 2006 when Seamrock was taking its first baby steps as a clique, the conception of evolution volume one (2006) (an experimental project) was a result of natural progression and synergy that existed within the group. Though the product was different from what had been initially planned astounding positive feedback was amassed from the release of this project. It was from this beat tape that the group gathered enough confidence to embark on sophomore projects. Among other things some of the tracks by K10 and Boomslang managed to hit the charts on Rhodes University’s radio, this was when the late Kreeper Reborn recorded a track to “Sentiments”, which was later recorded to again by Naledi wordsmith Tsowtang. The much memorable “young Samaritan” by cymtom became an anthem on Ultimate FM’s “Redenzvous”, it also was recorded to by the then Joburg based Skebza D. The project also featured San the instrumonumentalist with "my pen is my shovel". A fair effort indeed; considering that this was a first project.follow the link to Evolution Volume One.Click here
